Event Waiver Form

THE LITTLE MAKERSPACE

EVENT PARTICIPATION WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By participating in activities hosted, facilitated, or organized by The Little Makerspace LLC (“The Little Makerspace”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

   
   

   I understand that participation in maker activities, workshops, events, camps, parties, and creative experiences may involve certain risks, including but not limited to the use of tools, art materials, paints, adhesives, small objects, sensory materials, sharp objects, physical movement, and group activities. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

   
   

2. Release of Liability

   
   

   To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless The Little Makerspace LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, facilitators, volunteers, venue partners, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, injuries, illnesses, accidents, costs, or expenses arising from or related to participation in activities, including but not limited to personal injury, allergic reactions, property damage, or loss of belongings.

   
   

3. Property Damage

   
   

   The Little Makerspace is not responsible for damage to homes, venues, furnishings, flooring, clothing, personal property, vehicles, electronics, or other belongings resulting from participation in activities or event setup/breakdown. Participants understand that maker activities may involve materials that can stain, spill, splatter, mark, or otherwise impact surrounding areas or items.

   
   

4. Participant Responsibility

   
   

   Participants are expected to follow instructions, use materials appropriately, and behave respectfully and safely. The Little Makerspace reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate

   
   

5. Host Responsibility & Minor Participants

   
   

   By signing this agreement, I acknowledge that I am the event host and am responsible for obtaining any necessary permission from parents/guardians for participating minors. I understand that The Little Makerspace LLC provides facilitated creative activities only and is not responsible for supervising, monitoring, or providing childcare for participants at any time during the event. Responsibility for the supervision, behavior, safety, and wellbeing of all children and attendees remains solely with the event host and/or attending parents or guardians unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

   
   

6. Allergies & Sensitivities

   
   

   I understand that activities may involve common art, sensory, or craft materials including but not limited to paint, glue, latex, flour, fragrances, or other potential allergens. I agree to notify The Little Makerspace in advance of any known allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities.

   
   

7. Media Release

   
   

   Unless otherwise requested in writing, I grant permission for photographs or videos taken during events to be used by The Little Makerspace for promotional, marketing, website, and social media purposes without compensation.

   
   

8. Venue & Outdoor Activities

   
   

   Some activities may take place outdoors or at third-party venues. Participants assume risks associated with weather, uneven surfaces, shared public spaces, and venue conditions. The Little Makerspace is not responsible for conditions outside of its direct control.

   
   

9. Agreement

   
   

   By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this waiver and voluntarily agree to its terms.
